Abhi Arun is a very talented, classical music trained, aspiring film playback singer who is coming out with his debut album.This 24 year old singer is being gifted music in heredity by both his father and mother.His parents are extremely good singers whose blessings and support lead Abhi to visit Mumabi three years back to achieve his mission.He has taken a formal training of Indian Classical music by an eminent guru Shri Sunil Pathakji at Patna where he also completed his B.A. (sociology).
In Mumbai,he keenly observed and gradually learnt techniques of play back singing by visiting the recording studios and watching almost all renowned singers recording.Abhi himself is gifted with clean and soft voice quality.He has already given play back for films like, We are friends,Oops (Telgu),Dil kea aas paas,Dharam Shakti,etc.He has done title songs for TV serials like Rishton ki dori and Kashmir ki kathay.He has also performed live in grand concerts with Kumar Sanu,Sonu Nigam and Shaan.
Abhi Arun is a semi finalist of , ‘Golden Voice Hunt’ event of Hero Honda Saregamapa(Zee TV).He has participated in various prestigious TV music shows like Haina bolo bolo (Star Plus) and Kuch Kehti hain ye dhun (Sony).He has also performed live with Javed Aktar saheb in lot of shows.Javed saheb is a great well wisher and admirer of him as a singer.Lucikily he is also blessed by night angle of India Bharat Ratna Lata Mangeshkarji who is a well wisher of Abhis’s success in playback career.
His actual style, singing pattern and ability were looking for wide opening and exposure. This inspired him to conceive his own non-film debut album titled, ‘Bhool Bhulaiya’, which is now ready to get released very soon. His debut album is an extraordinary reflection of his singing, eternal melodies and everlasting meaningful lyrics.Ravi Pawar is the music director and all eight songs are penned by popular lyricist, ‘Ajay Jhingran’ who has penned songs from Page 3 ,Rakht , Hazaaron Khwahishen Aisi and many others.Abhi regards Ajay Jhingran as his elder brother and confesses that he has learnt the art of delivery of words,aqurate pronunciation and diction from him which are very essential elements of playback career.
Abhi’s debut album, ‘Bhool Bhulaiya’ actually means getting lost in romance and melody. All compositions are beautifully designed and well arranged according the meaning and mood of the lyrics.Orchestrization is quite live and synthetic sounds are avoided to enlarge the life of the song. The dominant feel of this album is, ‘love and romance’ but every song is like a refreshing wave with depth and visuals which lack badly in today’s scenario. All the songs have a proper and complete graph which really touches everyone’s true emotions. Abhi Arun’s bhool bhulaiya is undoubtedly an honest, truthful, well conceived, worked out effort to revive Indian music melody and lyrical beauty by his soft, romantic, and youthful velvet voice.
